Steam for Linux is released and now available in the "Ubuntu Software Center". Due to a licence change it can now also included into the repositories of other distributions.

You can get a 50%-75% discount on all Linux games until 21. february. Not all possible games are already ported, so the highlights are Team Fortress 2, Half-Life, Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source und Serious Sam 3. You can currently get over 50 titles in Steam for Linux.

Everyone who already bought the games in Steam can now also play them under Linux without any additional payment.
